We constantly strive to provide the highest quality cabinetry possible. In 2018, Chemcraft released their top quality Chemvinyl vinyl-based line, which we use on all of our cabinets. Vinyl-based systems have been shown to have superior sealant properties over conventional lacquer sealer and lacquer paint. Chemvinyl is quick drying and moisture resistant, providing an excellent water barrier.
Our tried and true process involves four key steps:
2 layers of Chemcraft vinyl primer
1 layer of Chemcraft vinyl paint
1 layer of Chemcraft Unico-Clear low gloss sealer
Construction
We build our cabinets with domestic furniture grade 5/8” maple veneered plywood with a pre-finished UV-coated interior.
Standard construction consists of:
5/8” domestic UV-coated maple plywood cabinets
Drawer boxes: 5/8” domestic UV-coated maple plywood, with banded edges. No “raw” material is exposed
Standard crown molding is 5 1/4” cove molding
Standard drawer fronts are slab style
Standard door style is shaker. This standard combination is shown to the right —>
We have invested in a top-of-the-line CNC machine to offer the most "square” and consistent cabinet possible. Our CNC constructs the cabinet through the Dado and Rabbet process. This allows for a very durable construction, in lieu of just gluing or pin-nailing the cabinets together. Our cabients are a traditional semi-overlay framed cabinet.
